Hi, I'm Azar!
Though many know me as Zarin, which means “golden” in Persian. I’m a watercolor artist based in Montreal, Canada, with a passion for creating shimmering, dynamic works of art using metallic watercolors.
My artistic journey is deeply inspired by the elegance of nature’s creatures and the interplay of light and color. Whether it’s a vibrant bird in flight, a sparkling underwater world, or the intricate patterns of flowers, I strive to bring each subject to life with a touch of brilliance and dimension. My unique use of metallic watercolors adds a luminous quality to my paintings, making them shift and shine under changing light—like a story that unfolds differently with every glance.
I believe art is a bridge between emotions and the tangible world, and my goal is to create pieces that evoke joy, wonder, and connection in those who view them. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft through practice, experimentation, and engaging with art lovers across the globe. Course Content
The course has 12 modules for 7+ hours of learning and practicing. It also includes 50+ lessons and full-length artwork tutorials! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want. The course is suitable for everyone, teens, adults and children because there is no explicit content. It would be best to take the course in order, because it will start from the basics to lessons at a more advanced level.

MODULES 7, 8, 9 AND 10
Practical Application & Effects
Put your skills to the test with step-by-step guided projects, starting with a butterfly and shimmering pansies. You’ll learn how to build forms, add metallic effects, and choose the perfect colors to bring your paintings to life. Then, explore shadows and transparency, mastering techniques to create depth and realism using metallic watercolors.
MODULES 11 AND 12
Advanced Skills and Final Touches
Take your art further with a shimmering mermaid project, where you’ll refine skin tones, add metallic highlights, and enhance depth. Then, dive into advanced techniques, including mixing metallics with traditional watercolors and controlling water flow for precise effects. Finally, wrap up with finishing touches, ensuring your artwork has a polished, professional look.
